We're here to make sure you love your designer pieces from FRIDA COUTURE.

If your purchase isn’t quite right, no problem – returns and exchanges are easy.

    1.Need to Return Something?

    If you'd like to return an item, here’s what you need to know:

    You’re welcome to send it back as long as:

    - The item is in perfect condition, unused, undamaged, and with all original tags or stickers still attached

    - It is returned in its original, undamaged packaging, with any seals unbroken (where applicable)

    - All included parts are still in the box

    - The item isn’t listed in Section 2: Products not eligible for return

    - You request the return via our website within 21 days of receiving your order

    For orders under R1000, a R100 courier fee will be deducted from your refund.

    Returns are collected from your door, free of charge. To avoid delays, please pack the item securely; couriers may not accept items that aren’t properly wrapped.

    After we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will credit your account with the purchase price of the product within 10 working days of the return (or refund you if that is your preference).  Please note that refunds can take up to 10 working days to reflect in your account.

    We reserve the right to inspect the product to validate your return. Please refer to our FAQ for some advice on making sure that your product is returnable under this section.

    2.Products not eligible for returns

    The following products are not qualified for a refund, exchange or credit:

    -No refunds will be given on sale products (unless they have a defect, see section 4 (jump to section 4 on returns and exchanges page)   

    3. Products damaged on delivery

    Should a product be damaged at the time of delivery / collection, please notify us of such delivery / collection by logging a return on the website.

    We will arrange for the product to be collected from you at no cost. After examining the item and confirming the return, we will either repair or replace it depending on feasibility or issue a credit for the purchase amount. If you prefer, a refund can also be processed. Most credits and refunds are completed within 10 days of the return being logged (please note that refunds may take up to 10 working days to appear in your account). Repairs or replacements may take longer, depending on the availability of parts or stock.

    4.Defective products

    What is considered a defect?
    A defect refers to a material flaw in the manufacturing of a product, or any feature that makes the item less acceptable than what a reasonable person would expect under normal circumstances. For further clarification, please see our [FAQs] for examples.

    Please note that the following issues are not considered defects and do not qualify for returns under section 4:

    -Wear and tear from normal use

    -Damage caused by negligence, misuse, or improper handling

    -Harm resulting from power surges or exposure to sea air

    -Damage due to unauthorized modifications or repairs

    5.Charges

    If you return a defective product but do not include all the accessories originally sold with it, we reserve the right (in accordance with applicable laws) to either:

    -Decline the return,

    -Replace only the item you returned, or

    -Deduct the estimated value of the missing accessories from your refund or store credit.

    If a product is returned in a way that does not comply with this returns policy, you may be responsible for covering the cost of collection and re-delivery.

    6.Standard Warranty

    If you have received a product which turns out to be defective, please notify us as soon as reasonably possible after you become aware of the defect, but in any event within 6 months after delivery / collection of the product.

    You can do so by logging a return on the website, and we will arrange to collect the product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will, at your choice, repair / replace the product (if such repair / replacement is possible) or credit your account with the purchase price of the product (or refund you if that is your preference). Credits and refunds are normally handled within 10 days of logging the return (bear in mind that refunds can take up to 10 working days* to reflect in your account). Repairs and replacements could take longer, depending on parts / replacement availability.

    Please provide suitable packaging for returning the product (it need not be the original packaging), as well as all accessories that were sold with the defective item when you return it to us, regardless of whether you request a repair / replacement or a refund. Our courier is entitled to refuse collection of a product that is not properly packaged for transport. See section 1 below for more information on this.
